I signed up as Node Host Late December 2003. I've written some notes with a few pictures of my installation here:

As a Node I am currently providing a relay service to two other users as well as serving my own broadband needs.

The service is working very well with very few outages. Performance has been superb since the 2 Mbps leased line was installed.

I'm quite happy to help if you have questions, or perhaps you may want to post your own experiences.
